Rhosneigr
(1907 - 1917 1919)
The station was opened in May 1907 on the North Wales Coast Line
It was closed between January 1 1917 and February 1 1919 as an economy measure during World War I
The station buildings were originally made of wood but in 1953 they were replaced by concrete structures. The structure on platform one remains whilst the one on platform two has
been replaced by a metal and plastic bus stop-style shelter
It has neither sidings nor a goods yard
There are no ticketing facilities here, so tickets must be bought prior to travel or on the train. The station does have digital CIS displays to provide train
running information, along with a pay phone and timetable poster boards
The station master's house still stands but it is a private dwelling
