Llangollen to Corwen Railway
(1865 - )


The Llangollen and Corwen Railway was formed as a continuation of the Vale of Llangollen Railway to continue the Ruabon to Barmouth line along the Dee Valley to Corwen. This line was opened on May 1 1865

The section of line, which in its day went from Ruabon to Barmouth taking people to the seaside on holiday and transporting various goods including slate and chemicals
