Treamble
( 1874 - 1952)
The line was an extension of the Treffry Tramway route from Tolcarne to East Wheal Rose opened in 1874. The branch was further extended by a mile to Gravel Hill however this section closed in 1888
In 1905, part of the route between a new Junction at Shepherds to Tolcarne was upgraded to form the Perranporth to Newquay section of the Chacewater to Perranporth branch which had opened in 1903
