Burscough Bridge
(1855 - )

Burscough Bridge Station serves the town of Burscough opening on April 9 1855 and it is a main stop on the Manchester-Southport Line. This station is not to be confused with Burscough Junction, which is also in Burscough, but on the Ormskirk - Preston line

The station is unstaffed and a notice informs passengers that the nearest staffed station is either Ormskirk or Parbold

On Monday to Saturday daytimes, there are two trains an hour westbound to Southport and eastbound to Wigan for onward journeys to Manchester. On Sundays there is an hourly service to Southport and Manchester Victoria
