Manchester to Southport Railway
(1855 - )


The Manchester and Southport Railway in England opened on April 9 1855 and it merged with the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. The route is still in use to day as Northern Rail's Manchester to Southport Line but some intermediate stations have been closed
