Huskisson Dock
(1893 - 1956)

Huskisson Dock station was situated on the Liverpool Overhead Railway (LOR) and had opened by May 1896 as a replacement for Sandon Dock station which had opened with the line on March 6 1893

Access to the station for the public was via a doorway cut into the wall at each end of the station. Beyond the doorways there were steps that led up to the two platforms which had shelters and there was a footbridge at the south end of the station

The station closed on December 30 1956 and on September 23 1957 demolition began, and the overhead structure was taken down and the process was complete by January 1958
