Langton Dock
(1896 - 1906)
Langton Dock station was not one of the original LOR stations when it opened in May 1896
Passengers accessed the station by stairways and there were two platforms with shelters and ticket facilities on both
However Langton Dock was not used for long closing completely on March 5 1906. Trains continued to pass through the station site until December 30 1956 when the line was closed due to corrosion of the iron structure that carried it
