Pencader Junction
(1866 - 1880)
The Carmarthen & Cardigan Railway (C & CR) extended their line from Pencader to Llandyssil on June 3 1864 and the Manchester & Milford Railway opened their line

The railways different gauges and to allow exchange between the two lines an interchange station called Pencader Junction was opened half-a-mile north of
the C&CR's Pencader station. It first appeared in company timetables in February 1866
When the gauges were standardised, Pencader Junction was closed in May 1880
