Pentrecourt Platform was opened on February 1 1912 to serve Alltycefn Woollen Mill and the village of Pentre Cwrt and closed on September 15 1952
It had a single timber platform on the up side of the line and a corrugated-iron pagoda platform shelter. The platform had two boards
which were lit each day by the lad porter from Llandyssul, who also carried out general housekeeping duties before returning to his home
station by the next service train
Although officially called Pentrecourt Platform, the two boards showed Pentrecourt Halt, as did tickets. Timetables always showed Pentrecourt Platform
After closure in 1952, the station was demolished and the trackbed is now an unofficial footpath
