Quintrell Downs formerly Quintrell Downs Platform

Quintrell Downs railway station serves the village of Quintrell Downs in Cornwall. The station is 4 km (2½ miles) to the east of Newquay on the Atlantic Coast Line
Although a siding was provided at an early date and passenger trains began passing through from June 20 1876, the station at Quintrell Downs was not opened until October 2 1911 as Quintrell Downs Platform
Local services in each direction call here but there are few local services on summer Saturdays, when intercity trains run through to Newquay
