Rhosrobin Halt
(1932 - 1947)
Rhosrobin Halt was located on the Chester to Wrexham line opening in September 1932 and was only used by local stopping trains
The halt at Rhosrobin was opened to serve the small settlement after which it was named as well as Gresford Colliery which was accessed by a branch line from Rhosrobin
It was very basic halt consisting of timber-edged platforms backfilled with cinders. On the platforms there were simple waiting shelters
As the halt had become poorly supported, the GWR closed it on October 6 1947. It was demolished soon after, leaving no trace
