Hayburn Wyke
(1885 - 1917 1921 - 1965)


When the sation was opened on July 17 1885, the platform was sited on the Up side of the track but the platforms were built of wood and were inadequate. A new station building was built on the Down side of the track on the same site and a stationmaster's house was built in 1892

The station was closed in March 1 1917 reopening on May 2 1921. The station became unstaffed and was reduced to a Halt on March 23 1953 coming under the jurisdiction of Staintondale Station

The station building was converted to holiday accommodation after the station became unstaffed and electricity was installed for the first time

The station was closed to passengers on March 8 1965
