Stretford Bridge Junction
(1867 - 1951)


The halt was constructed in 1867 and it closed in Decmber 1951

The halt can be seen with a raised cinder platform and a white picket fence

There was no roadway leading to the halt only a path across the fields and no tickets were issued to or from the halt

Approaching trains from Craven Arms would whistle to attract the attention of the signalman so that he could adjust the points
