Llangower
(1929 - 1965)


Llangower was a minor station opened on the Ruabon to Barmouth line in June 1929 on the southern shore of Bala Lake serving the hamlet of Llangower. There was no freight facility, just a short platform and a waiting shelter on the south side of the line

The station had a single platform, with the passing loop located to the east of the platform

Llangower station was closed on January 18 1965 but on Sept 15 1972, the station was reopened by Bala Lake Railway
