Lambs Cottage
(1838 - 1842)
As a result of several letters from farmers on Chat Moss the railway built stations at Flow Moss and Lambs Cottage which opened between November 1832 and September 1838 and closed in October 1842
The company offered to stop as many passenger trains as were required for the 'convenience of the public' and in other cases the company went as far as to cater for individual families
Lambs Cottage station was located in an area of sparse population and it was only used intermittently until it closed in 1842
