Foryd
(1885 - 1917 1919 - 1931)

Foryd Station opened on April 20 1885 at Kinmel Bay on the Chester to Holyhead line

The line had four tracks up slow and fast and down slow and fast and the station was only provided with two platforms which served the slow lines because the express trains did not stop at Foryd

The station closed as an economy measure during World War 1 on July 2 1917 and reopened on July 1 1919. It is unlikely that it ever did much business outside of the holiday months and as a result the station closed on January 5 1931

Nothing survives of the station today but the line remains busy
