Mochdre & Pabo
(1889 - 1917 1919 - 1931)

Mochdre & Pabo station was opened on the Chester to Holyhead main line on April 1 1889

The station was located at a point where the line had four tracks but it was only provided with platforms for the two slow lines

The platforms were simple wooden constructions and only basic waiting facilities were provided

It was closed as an economy measure during World War 1 on January 1 1917, reopening on May 5 1919, but an early closure was inevitable and the station permanently closed to passengers on January 5 1931. The station never had a goods service

The site of Mochdre & Pabo station now lies buried under the A55 trunk road
